Coaching & Development

South Canterbury Cricket employs a fulltime Community Cricket Development Officer. He continues his success in the schools by arranging coaching sessions for both teachers and parents in an effort to make sure that cricket is continued in the schools.

Many primary schools have developed their own Milo Trophy competitions which gives children who do not play weekend cricket the opportunity to play the game.

Cricket in South Canterbury now has access to top facilities with the building of the Graeme Blanchard Cricket Centre where the indoor nets and facilities allow cricketers to practice all year round.
