South Canterbury Cricket Assn due to an increase in the player numbers at most levels is now able to enter more inter-district festivals to give more players the opportunity of an experience playing at a higher level than club cricket.
Entries to these festivals are regularly decided well in advance of the season and as such the Association has continued with our policy to attempt to ensure that players who wish to partake, stay committed to attending the various festivals.
This means we now ask for a registration of interest via an online form, a non-refundable $100 deposit (download the Player Agreement document and Policy documents linked below for more details) and the Player agreement signed by the Guardian(s) to be available for selection to attend one of the festivals.
The deposit will be deducted from the final costs of attending the festival.
*If registration numbers required do not meet team numbers required to attend/enter a festival, then the deposit would be refunded.
** Registrations and Deposits MUST be received by Sunday November 12th
Registrations are required for the following South Canterbury District teams attending festivals this season can be made below.
Year 9 & 10 Festivals (x 2)
It is imperative that player nominations are received by this Sunday 29th October so teams can be formulated for the first matches on Nov 12th.
Festivals are held December 13th to 15th 2023.
