Pleasant Point Primary Girls just miss out in ActivePost Regional Final

The Pleasant Point Primary senior girls cricket team represented the South Canterbury region today when they faced Tai Tapu School at the Ashburton Domain as part of a national knock-out competition.

Principal Mark Creba said it was fantastic achievement and was delighted for the girls’ and boys.

“It is down to their hard work and the great support they have got from their coaches.”

Unfortunately for the girls despite putting up a very competitive score of about 150, one girl from Tai Tapu carried her team to victory scoring 95 not out and without this contribution Pleasant Point were probably on top over the rest of the team.

Hard luck girls but congratulations on making it to the regional final!
