Canterbury Cricket – Operations Manager

 

Fixed Term, Full Time, 7 month role – September – March

At Canterbury Cricket we value integrity, respect and courage and have enormous pride and passion for the red and black colours that have been worn by our cricketers for over 100 years.

Due to the secondment of our current Operations Manager to the Operations team of Cricket World Cup we are seeking candidates for this fixed – term, full – time role. The position will be based at the Canterbury Cricket headquarters and report to the Chief Executive.

This role will have the responsibility to manage all logistic and operational requirements for first class and other Canterbury teams and matches. The role will also assist the Chief Executive to manage and oversee Canterbury Cricket’s operational contribution to the 2015 Cricket World Cup.

  • Strong professional ethics – high level interpersonal and relationship building capabilities

It is preferred (but not a necessity) for the successful applicant to have had previous cricket operations experience.

Canterbury Cricket – Fan Engagement Manager

 

Full Time role

 
The role of Fan Engagement Manager will work across all aspects of Canterbury Cricket business with particular emphasis on developing strategies to engage and grow our Association’s supporter base. This role will see you designing and leading the fan acquisition and develop strategy across different market categories including youth, women, young adults, parents, indigenous and new migrant communities.

In order to fulfill the vision and responsibilities of this role, candidates must possess the following attributes and experience.

  • In – depth and detailed knowledge of cricket
  • Strong professional ethics – high level interpersonal and relationship building capabilities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills

It is preferred (but not a necessity) for the successful applicant to be fluent in facebook advertising services and currently working in a marketing role or be a recent marketing graduate.
