I would like to invite you to attend a Coaching course on Monday 29th July, 5.30-8.30pm, at the Graeme Blanchard Centre at Aorangi Park.
It is a NZC accredited course labelled Coaching a Cricket Team. It is a 3 hour session with the time split evenly between discussion and practical teaching. There is also a quick half hour online form to complete before the 3 hour session. There is no exam so if you turn up – I will guarantee you will pass.
This course is designed for the coach, parent, teacher or volunteer involved with organising and coaching 10-18 year old primary, intermediate or secondary students playing junior or youth cricket for their school or a club. It is concerned mainly with how and what to coach a team playing the conventional 11-a-side game.
I believe you would be well suited to this course and if you don’t want to go further in the coaching field then this course will give you the information and skills to coach your sons or daughters teams on a Saturday with some confidence.
If you do want to go further down the coaching path, this course is the pre requisite to the NZC Level 1 examinable coaching course.
There is a cost of $35 to cover the literature that you will receive, which are mainly reference books on coaching cricket for you to keep.
