After the cricket trials for the Year 5 & 6 boys at the Graeme Blanchard Centre on Sunday 16th February, the following training squad has been selected to take part in 3 trial matches in February and March this season.
From these 3 trial matches 12 players will be selected to represent South Canterbury next season in various matches leading up to the Canterbury Regional Year 5/6 tournament at Mandeville in January 2015.
The 16 strong training squad for the 3 trial matches in Feb/March 2014 is as follows:-
Thomas Allan, Liam Andrews, Toby Clemett, Caleb Donaldson, Lucas Histen, Alex Kelliher, Hayden Kerr, Harper McKerrow, Jarrod Phillips, Oliver Porter, Ollie Richards, Sam Riley-Segal, Fletcher Rhodes, Toby Scannell, Kaleb Small, Nick Webb.
Dates for the trial matches are as follows:-
- 23rd Feb vs North Otago at Oamaru, 10.30am
- 9th March vs Dunedin Gold at Culling Park, Dunedin, 11am
- 23rd March vs ChCh Metro at Geraldine Domain, 10.30am
The SC Year 5 & 6 cricket team for the first trial match on Sunday 23rd February 2014 vs North Otago at St Kevins College, Oamaru is as follows:
