The Hawke Cup – unfortunately we won’t be presenting this on the night, as it is the one that got away, but there are plenty more trophies to award!
The South Canterbury Cricket Association End-of-Season Prizegiving Night is being held in the Function Centre, upstairs at the Speights Ale House on Wednesday evening at 6.00pm.
Competition cups, trophies and individual awards will be presented during the evening by Guest Speakers Ben McCord & Willie Lonsdale from the Canterbury Wizards.
Ben and Willie will also be answering questions from renowned interviewer and MC for the night Julian Blanchard, which is sure to provide insights into the lives of professional cricketers and perhaps a bit more about Ben’s life since leaving Timaru.
The evening should only take a couple of hours, including supper, so please come along and support award winners, team mates and the many other worthy recipients.
A good night to discuss the season, and celebrate the good things that happened!
