Batting Stats
This season all South Canterbury Senior Club Batting & Bowling statistics will be available online and automatically updated each Monday.
These averages are defined from the ‘official’ score sheets sent to the Timaru Herald and South Canterbury Cricket, so are obviously reliant on clubs diligently recording their results each week. Currently we only list the batting and bowling stats, but if scorers get themselves more organised and record the catcher’s names (and wicketkeeper stumpings), we would like to be able to show these records too.
Please note, that these records will not appear as fancily as ‘Cricinfo’ but with nil in the IT budget, hopefully this is still an improvement on previous seasons and something players and supporters may enjoy checking on from time to time.
