The following South Canterbury Year 8 squad has been named to play 3 district matches in the coming weeks.
Please note this squad has been picked solely for these 3 matches.
There will be a trial match in early October 2020, to select 2 squads for the Year 8 tournaments in January.
The South Island Primary Schools Tournament (SIPST) is in Rangiora in early Jan 2021 and a Year 8 Development tournament is being run alongside this in which South Canterbury will also enter a team. We expect to have 24 Year 8 boys involved in these 2 tournaments in early Jan 2021, and also in the warm up matches for both squads in the Oct – Dec period.
So boys who have missed selection in this initial squad will still be involved in the selection process for the 2 new squads to attend these 2 tournaments.
