The final days play at the U16 cricket tournament had to be abandoned due to wet weather.
This means that the winner’s trophy will be shared between finalists Metro Red and South Canterbury.
Well done to the South Canterbury boys who performed well all week and a special congratulations to the South Canterbury Under 16 players selected for the Southern Districts side (combination of Mid/Sth Canterbury players) to play in the Canterbury Under 16 Quad series from 5-7 of January.
The players are: Glen Drake(Captain), Tom Pavlitich, Micheal Hogan, Nick Haack, Levi McCoy, Daniel O’Brien, Josh Rooney, Dan Mehrtens.
From this tournament, a Canterbury representitive side will be selected to play in Wellington later in January.
