South Canterbury Development played Mid Canterbury on Sunday the 27/11/11.
The boys got off to a great start, batting first and reaching 145 for 2. Cullen Grace with an excellent batting display reached 66, well supported by Tim Hepburn who opened the innings and displayed some fine cover driving. He was 48 not out.
Unfortunately bowling let us down badly. We bowled 38 wides, and 9 no balls but despite this we had them 5 down. Extras cost us the game though, resulting in a win to Mid Canterbury.
