The South Canterbury boys travelled to Ashburton to play their Mid Canterbury counterparts, and while the pitch left a lot to be desired, were ruthless in dismissing Mid Canterbury for 68.
Opening bowler Josh Mehrtens led the way with 6-13 and was ably supported by Chris Hogan with 3-11.
In reply Wyatt McAutrie was unbeaten on 26 and Alister Harvey out for 25 as South Canterbury cruised to victory in the 12th over making 72-2.
