Tom Walsh – Guest Speaker at the SCCA Prizegiving 2014
The South Canterbury Cricket Prizegiving will be held on April 3rd at sponsors The Speights Ale House, upstairs in the Function Centre at 6.00pm.
We are really privileged to announce that Tom Walsh, a homegrown NZ Champion will be the guest speaker. Tom has represented South Canterbury at every level in cricket from JAB through to the Senior Men’s side and now has taken the world by storm after winning the bronze medal at this year’s World Indoor Athletics Championships.
No doubt he will talk about some of his cricketing past as well as his current sporting success in the shot put arena.
Due to time constraints the Prizegiving will need to start sharp at 6.00pm so please make sure you come along and have got seated prior to then as we celebrate the winners from our 2013-14 season and recognise both players, supporters and administrators.
